Mettler’s 100% polyester multipurpose thread – Metrosene 100, has an attractive high sheen, glossy finish and is suitable for all types of fabric from cotton and synthetic to mixed fibres and linen or denim at the high GSM end to fine quality silks, with a low GSM.*

Metrosene100 quality sewing thread has tearproof and abrasion resistant properties, which ensures greater seam strength with avoiding thread breakage. It is also shrink-proof and stands for maximum colour fastness.

The thread is designed with optimal elongation which achieves excellent seam elasticity, smooth seams and ideal care properties.  Metrosene100 has great gliding properties – no tension regulation is necessary.  The optimal loop formation is another feature of this world-class thread which gives an even seam appearance.

Finally, there is the lovely finished look – the glossy shimmer of this thread has a noticeably smooth silk-like seam appearance.
