Chenille needles are a long, thick needles with a sharp point and long eye. These needles are used for ribbon embroidery or where thicker yarn/floss is required. The sharp point allows the needle to easily pass through thicker fabrics. Gold eye needles have been dipped in gold to strengthen the eye. Needle eye sizes get smaller as the size gets higher.
